How do I book a session?
Choose the service you need and click "Book Now." Select your preferred tutor and a time that suits you. If you're a new student, you'll be prompted to create an account before checkout. Once your payment is complete, you'll receive a booking confirmation by email.
What happens after I book?

You'll receive a confirmation email connecting you with your tutor. The subject line will include your service, tutor, date, and time, for example:

Please read the email carefully, as it contains the next steps and any instructions needed before your session.

What subjects do you cover?
We specialise exclusively in psychology at all university levels, including undergraduate, honours, master's, and PhD. We cover all psychology topics and services. If you're not sure whether we can help with your specific assessment or project, just ask.
Who are the tutors?
All our tutors hold advanced degrees in psychology (Honours, Masters, or PhD) and have extensive teaching experience at Australian universities. They're active researchers who understand what markers are looking for.
What's the turnaround time for proofreading?

  • Feedback is returned within 48 hours of your scheduled booking start time.
  • This service does not include a live consultation.
  • The booking time simply reserves your place in the queue. You can ignore the displayed time slot.
I need my draft proofread faster than 48 hours. Is that possible?
Yes. We offer an expedited 24 hour proofreading service for an additional 30% of the standard booking fee. Please email bookings@getpsychedtutoring.com to check tutor's availability.
Can I work with the same tutor throughout my degree?
Yes. Many of our students work with the same tutor throughout their degree for consistency and ongoing support. Simply select your preferred tutor each time you book a service. As long as they have availability, you can continue working with them.
I can't find a booking time that works for me. Can you help?
Absolutely. If none of the available times suit your schedule, email us at bookings@getpsychedtutoring.com. We'll do our best to arrange a time that works for both you and the tutor.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 48-72 hours in advance to ensure tutor availability and preparation time.
How do tutoring sessions work?
Sessions are conducted online via video call. You'll submit your materials (assignment brief, draft, etc.) before the session so your tutor can prepare. During the session, you'll work through your questions together and receive personalised feedback.
Will you write my assignment for me?
No. We do not write assignments, provide pre-written content, or complete work on your behalf. Our role is to teach you the skills to write excellent assignments yourself. We provide feedback on your drafts and guide your thinking, but the work must be your own.
